Olympic Region has an opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic leader to join our team as the Assistant Region Manager – Wildfire and Forest Practices. This position assists and supports the Region Manager in implementing Region and Division objectives.
The Assistant Region Manager – Wildfire and Forest Practices is responsible for implementing agency policies and procedures, and for administering the Region’s Fire Management, Forest Practices, and Olympic Correctional Camp programs on approximately 1.5 million acres of public and private forestland within Olympic Region (Clallam, Jefferson, and north Grays Harbor counties).
In this role, you will you will apply excellent supervisory, organizational management, and communication skills to lead and coach diverse professional staff in our Wildfire, Forest Practices, and Olympic Camp sections. In this role, you will help create and maintain an inspiring team environment with a culture of open communication and innovation.
