The Department of Geography at Pennsylvania State University seeks a tenure-track assistant professor with expertise in energy policy. Potential topics of interest include sustainability and integrated assessment of energy systems; and scale linkages between national policy and state and local energy function. Successful candidates will have strong commitments to teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, productive scholarship and extramural research funding. A Ph.D. in geography, energy and environmental economics, interdisciplinary energy and environmental studies or a related field is required. The review of applications will begin on Jan. 3, 2012.
