What we will trust you with:

  • The Region GIS Analyst will use geographic information systems (GIS), Land Resources Manager (LRM), Civil 3D and other technology to create work products, analyze existing data, prepare reports and recommend business alternatives for the profitable and sustainable harvesting of timber.
  • You will serve as a data steward for Northeast Region by maintaining tabular and spatial data within Land Resource Manager (LRM) database. Provides region wide support for LRM with regard to updates, oversight, technical assistance, trouble shooting, dialogue with Division, and provides training to staff.
Who are we looking for?

The right candidate has an understanding of:

  • Proficiency in Geographic Data/Database Management.
  • Experience in Cartography Mapping.
  • Knowledge of GPS and GIS Systems
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in Land Resource Manager.
  • Civil 3D.
  • Photogrammetry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Photogrammetry, Cartography, Civil Engineering, Geodesy, GIS, Computer Science or related field.
