The Air Quality Program’s goal is to safeguard public health and the environment by preventing and reducing air pollution. This position provides professional services focused on community education and outreach regarding air quality issues in Ecology’s Eastern Region. This position is the lead for print and electronic media design and development, public involvement planning and program implementation, and acts as a program inter/intra agency liaison for the Air Quality Program in Eastern Washington. This position also acts as the lead on all education/outreach needs and environmental justice issues for the Section and represents Ecology on regional and intra-state outreach efforts. Additionally, this position performs public outreach campaigns, surveys, data management, and provides technical assistance for 12 counties and hundreds of communities served by the Eastern Regional Office.
