Starting Salary: $67,631 – $86,319

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (partial list):
· Manage the Port’s local sponsor participation in the Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) Environmental Dredging Authority project under agreements with the Corps and City of Portland for the Lower Willamette River within the Portland Harbor Superfund Site.
· Coordinate and implement Upland Source Control projects within the framework of the Portland Harbor Superfund site program.
· Manage and coordinate Natural Resource Damages (NRD) navigation assessment pursuant to agreements with the State of Oregon and Natural Resource Trustees.
· Coordinate project objectives with other program objectives related to the Portland Harbor Remedial Investigation/

Feasibility Study, NRD, and management of potential Port liabilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (partial list):
· Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, engineering, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
· Eight or more years of professional, scientific experience that includes at least five years experience related to environmental cleanup projects or dredging projects.
