GREEN CAREERS EMPLOYMENT AND ASSET BUILDING CASE MANAGER

Full-time position; Non-Exempt Grant funded until 1/31/12

Pay range: $14.42 – 15.86 per hour, with full benefit package.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (partial list):
• Screen, assess, enroll and develop employment and asset building case plans with 25 Latino community members.
• Have regular (at least twice monthly) contact with these enrolled through life of grant.
• Work with clients to increase their employment, employment skills, income and assets by end of grant period (January 2012).
• Maintain confidential and detailed client files and case notes for all case managed clients.
• Teach classes on budgeting and money management, employment, or other topics to groups of the 25 clients, as need and appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS (partial list):
• Ability to build relationships among partner agencies and the Latino community to promote services.
• Bilingual and cultural competency, in Spanish and English.
• Written and spoken fluency in both Spanish and English.
