SUN AFTER-SCHOOL ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION TEACHER

The SUN after-school program at Hall Elementary School in Gresham is in need of a “green club” teacher. Access to a car is necessary for this position (unless you live within walking distance!).

Must be willing/able to commit to teach for at least 1 hour, once/week for at least 1 term (8 weeks). The position is only for 1-3 hours/week, depending on number of classes taught.

Winter term begins January 24. Classes are from 3:00-4:00pm or
4:15-5:15pm, Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday, OR 1:30-2:30pm and/or 1:45-2:45pm on Wednesdays. Content for the class is flexible, but should focus on environmental/

sustainability issues at school and beyond. If the instructor continues into the spring
term, work in the school garden will be a part of the class.

$15/hour plus prep time.
Experience working with elementary aged students preferred.
