The Project Manager would be responsible for making the Tribe’s vision for a greenhouse/plant nursery operation come to life. This would include the creation of a business plan for the wholesale/retail operation, including the creation of a budget for the project to be submitted for the approval of government officers and Tribal Council and drafting of the project’s mission statement and policies.
The Manager will be working with local and government officials to secure building and land permits, have environmental studies conducted, create a site plan and building plan, etc. The Manager will work with the Tribe’s Human Resources staff to create a staffing plan with a recruitment strategy, employee handbook, proposed job descriptions, organization chart and salary ranges. The Manager will research and apply for sources of funding that may help finance the project.
