This position is a part-time, limited duration position with a maximum of up to 39 hours per week, based on project needs, with potential opportunity for long term, full-time employment. This is an at-will, non-exempt, non-union employee which serves as operations manager and project lead for the Greater Yamhill Watershed Council (GYWC).
The position oversees day-to-day council operations, coordinates organizational education and outreach, provides leadership for project management and serves as the GYWC representative in appropriate forums. The position is supervised by the GYWC Chair with guidance from the GYWC Board of Directors. The Executive Director should work closely with other agencies and groups to implement and complete projects while meeting the objectives of the Council’s Action Plan. The Executive Director should be a highly motivated, productive self-starter with demonstrated ability to be successful as a leader.
