Terraqua, Inc. has multiple openings for Fish Habitat Technician positions conducting fish habitat surveys. Terraqua is seeking self-motivated individuals who can work well as part of a team to collect detailed stream and river habitat data that will be used to aid large scale habitat restoration programs. This work is part of the Columbia Habitat Monitoring Program (CHaMP) and the Integrated Status and Effectiveness Monitoring Program which monitors salmon/steelhead habitat in the Upper Columbia Basin. Primary duties include: conducting detailed field surveys of stream and river habitat and channel topography while adhering to data collection protocols; ensuring the proper care and maintenance of sampling gear and collected site data; communicating effectively as part of a team and being proactive in addressing unforeseen events; and performing all duties with a high degree of quality, consistency, and timeliness.
