NRCS is currently seeking a Conservationist to assist with field delivery of our Sage Grouse Initiative(SGI) in the High Desert Basin of Oregon. This is an entry level position at the GS 7/9 pay scale ($38,790.00 – $50,431.00 / Per Year) located in our USDA Service Center in Hines, Oregon. It is a full-time, term position renewable for up to 3 years contingent upon funding. Although this is listed as a ‘Soil Conservationist’, most of the work will be related to delivery of Farm Bill programs for range and wildlife habitat conservation.
