The Lower Columbia Fish Recovery Board (LCFRB) is currently recruiting for a Habitat Program Manager. This position reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for implementing the habitat portion of the regional salmon recovery plan, particularly protection and restoration projects. It requires a person with the knowledge and ability to assist in developing and implementing habitat restoration and protection strategies and initiatives, work effectively with agencies and project sponsors in developing habitat projects, promoting community understanding and support for restoration efforts, and assisting other staff members and sponsors to successfully implement preservation and restoration activities. LCFRB staff members are expected to work with diverse interest groups in a professional manner and to provide services in support of the overall mission of the LCFRB. The Habitat Program Manager is expected to be able to work effectively as a team member within a small office environment.

Program Overview:
For the past 15 years the LCFRB has been the regional leader in salmon recovery, watershed enhancement, and water resource management in Clark, Cowlitz, Lewis, Skamania and Wahkiakum Counties and portions of Pacific County. The Lower Columbia Region encompasses 18 major watersheds that are home to 72 threatened salmon and steelhead populations.

Salary Range: $55,836 to 73,260
