The person in this position leads the development of wildlife strategies for forest management plans, leads the development of program wildlife policies and procedures, provides direct field support to the Eastern Oregon Area, and provides technical and policy guidance to two regional ODF biologists.

The minimum requirements of the position include four (4) years of experience in Wildlife Science or related natural resource field, at least one year of the experience must be at a technical or professional level researching and analyzing natural resource data, applying pertinent laws and regulations, and recommending a course of action in a natural resource program and a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Science or related natural resource field or four (4) additional years of experience. A Master’s degree in these or related fields may substitute for two years of experience, while a PhD will substitute for four years.

Salary:
$4350- $6371/month + excellent benefits.
