The Network of Oregon Watershed Councils is a statewide 501(c)3 nonprofit organization serving over 90 diverse, citizen-led watershed councils and their partners. Our mission is to support the work of watershed councils in their efforts to enhance watershed health and benefit their local communities. We envision effective, resilient and inclusive watershed councils that produce environmental, economic, and social benefits within their local watersheds and communities.

The Network offers organizational development, training, and education resources and services to its members – watershed councils – and works to promote councils throughout the state, forging
strategic partnerships and relationships with public agencies and other nonprofit organizations as well as with investors, legislators, and public policy decision makers. Our strength lies in our
performance, the trust we have earned from our member councils, and the integrity we demonstrate to our partners and funders.

The Network’s Outreach & Education Director will be expected to serve as the organization’

s primary point person for communications with member watershed councils and spend the bulk of his or her time providing direct assistance and resources to councils as well as assisting the Network’s Executive Director with public outreach and education.

Starting Salary:
$42,00-$48,000 per year (DOE) plus generous health and retirement benefits.

Start date will be on or before August 1st.
