THE DEPARTMENT:
The WDFW Enforcement Hunter Education Division strives to build partnerships with the public and other agencies to benefit fish and wildlife in Washington State. This position strives to build and strengthen those relationships by gathering data from multiple sources that will be utilized to help direct and prioritize current and future tasks and projects. This position is housed in the Enforcement Division, which has a para-military command structure, so although the primary supervisor is the Hunter Education Manager this position may also report to a Lieutenant, Deputy Chief, or Chief depending on project(s) being worked on. One of the objectives of this position is the responsibility for developing, maintaining performance objectives, and achievement of Hunter Education goals. Additionally, this position is responsible for assisting other areas of Hunter Education including;
outreach, Master Hunter Program, Advanced Hunter Education, and hunter recruitment.
