We have upgraded to OS X 10.8 and to Digital Performer 8. Dragonframe is now available in the MML in addition to the animation labs.

Memorial Day and Extended Hours
The Multimedia Lab and all Non-Linear Suites will be closed Monday, May 27th for Memorial Day, however, we will be open late Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and open on the weekend of Week Nine.
Lab Updates
The lab computers have been upgraded to Mac OS X 10.7. We have also upgraded to After Effects CS6, Premiere Pro CS6 and Adobe Design Premium CS6. We’ve now switched to Premiere Pro as being our main video editor. We still have Final Cut 7 installed but will be focusing on Premiere this year.
Winter Updates
The Transfer Station has been simplified and moved to the MML. It can be used to dub between DV, VHS and DVD. Also, a turntable and cassette deck have been hooked up to the mixer on the Audio station.
Fall Lab Update
The Multimedia Lab no longer requires a proficiency. Any student can use the lab for academic purposes. The Non-Linear editing suites still require a proficiency which can be scheduled with the MML intern.
There is now a third Non-Linear editing suite next to the other two. We have updated to Adobe After Effects CS 5.5, Design Premium 5.5, iLife 11 and we are staying with Final Cut 7 as our main video editing application this year.
Each Station now has a small audio mixer and we bought some Korg NanoKONTROL2, NanoPAD2 and NANOKEY2 MIDI controllers. Each Non-Linear suite will have a NANOKEY2 and the other controllers will be available for use in the lab. We also now have 3 firewire Blu-Ray burners for use in the lab.
