There will be no seminar meeting this week, Tuesday, April 30.  Class WILL meet at 2:00 in Sem 2 E 1105.

Spring quarter week 1 composition/performance assignment

and there is a new syllabus to go with it!

Please submit drafts of your self evaluations to your faculty immediately.  You may e-mail a draft copy and bring your final copy to your evaluations conference.

Here are two short readings for week 9’s seminar meetings. The first, The Story of Orpheus, explains the story of the Greek god of music. The second is Orpheus the Shaman. Please print and bring both to seminar.

Tonight (Friday, February 8) at 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Center.   I will be at the box office at 2:00 p.m. this afternoon with money to purchase your ticket – you will need your student ID.  You may buy a rush ticket (with student ID) at anytime today and bring me the receipt and I will reimburse you ($10).  Looking forward to seeing all of you at the concert!
