PORTLAND, Ore. – Senior Karissa Carlson (Pateros, Wash./Pateros HS) met the NAIA’s automatic qualifying mark in the 800m to highlight the Warner Pacific 50-50 Meet at David Douglas High School in Portland, Ore.
Carlson won the 800m race easily, posting a time of 2:18.53, currently the 20th-best time in the NAIA this season and 47 one-hundredths of the second faster than the NAIA Automatic Qualifying mark of 2:19.00.
Tati Hatkins (East Wenatchee, Wash./Eastmont HS) won the women’s high jump, clearing 1.46m. On the men’s side, Zephyr Forest (Fairfax, Calif./Drake HS) took third in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.60.
The Geoducks will next be in action on February 25 when they head up to Dempsey Indoor Center at the University of Washington for the Last Chance Indoor.
