This area is also vital for emergency response vehicles to get from one side of Olympia to the other

I have seen buses, cars, bikes, U-hauls, log trucks, school buses, and ambulances pass in the few minutes I’ve been standing here. As I write, a sheriff’s SUV is coming around the bend. This place needs protection from flooding, it connects Olympia.”
