Jefferson Street

The age on this side of the block is clearly visible. The Fireplace and Spa shop’s building, located where 4th Avenue and Jefferson Street intersect, is made of weathered brick that is distinguishable from other buildings on the block. At 2 stories tall, the windows of the old building are outlined with brick and unique. Due to time and weather, the brick building is no longer a consistent color of brick red, and has many patches of faded color as well as water stains. Not only are fireplaces and hot tubs sold from this building, the east side of Jefferson Street also houses a small restaurant called Pizza Time! The only other building on this side of the street shows just as much age but from different building material. Peeling white paint, repetitious structure, and appearance of this wooden building name its use as an apartment home. Whether people live in there or not, the building is old and obviously does not contain a structurally sound foundation required by more recent, up to date constructions. Sounds of the car mechanic across the street could bother possible tenants, so it is most likely the apartment building was built before the mechanic’s shop
