I’d heard Funkadesi on Kmud working in Northern California, and was stoked to hear them again bring back my fond memories of grooving in the garden. They even drop a little southern rock homage using Sweet Home Alabama in one of their songs. Thanks for reminding me they are out there. I’m a fan of their Indo- Rasta- Bolloywood- Latin mix, and love grooving out to them while working in the garden, painting or being domestic around the house to them. The happy rasta vibes coupled with the eastern beats really get your body moving and can take you to a different planet.
This interview is a nice breakdown of the group. The multiple cultures in the band brings there multifaceted sound to world, bringing the world together to have fun as one.
