I found these two photos of me recently, and they couldn’t be more fitting. This is me back in 1980, in Fort Collins, Colorado. Happy as a kid in a candy shop, hanging outside of the Wrecking Crew Club House with the bikes.
Not much has changed in the past 37 years. I’m still running around in my overalls, playing with Harley Davidson’s. I guess one difference is now I’m the one with the keys. Thanks Pops for instilling in me this love that has driven me to freedom of choice and to always be who I am.
Below is a picture of my current Harley, a 1985 Ironhead Sportster. It looks a lot like the grey one in the picture up above, which was my fathers and where much of my idea of the perfect bike came from.
