Material Life Festival

The purpose of Junk Camp is to host a fun, friendly whirlwind of excitement for young patrons of Olympia. We will be hosting sustainable, child-friendly, educational activities. Our goal is to make sustainable practices available to all ages. Getting an early start on sustainable practices promotes continued development of these skills. We will be providing an opportunity for children to plant seeds in take-home the containers. They will also be allowed to decorate the containers that are not being planted directly in the ground. There will be a game involving sorting out recycling and teaching ways to identify what bins recyclables go into. We will offer a variety of activities to keep children engaged and excited about sustainable practices! Hope to see you there!
