Student Transportation Coordinator Position @ Evergreen

$10/hr; up to 19 hr/wk

This position is primarily to champion the on-campus alternative transportation program. Activities this year will hopefully include developing a car share program for campus and collaborating with the Sustainability Council.

This includes planning and facilitating quarterly commuter appreciation events, overseeing the commuter locker program, identifying roadblocks that hinder campus community members from choosing commuting alternatives and generating ideas to remove them, becoming familiar with the STAR bus pass program as well as the student bus pass program, and all with the goal of helping our campus community move toward achieving existing carbon-neutral goals as related to transportation.

The person filling this position will have access to a laptop computer and will be meeting with me at least weekly for planning and discussion, and will be supported by the Parking Services staff, the Director of Police Services, and the VP of Student Affairs.  I will arrange the work schedule with the person who is hired, and they will be able to check out the laptop and take it home if they want to.
