Tahoma Audubon hosts free programs on a variety of environmental topics from local to global at our monthly program and membership meeting held at the Tacoma Nature Center, 1919 S. Tyler St, Tacoma WA.

Free to the public.  Doors open at 7pm with a presentation starting at 7:30pm on the third Thursday of the month.

Orangutan Conservation and Rehabilitation in Borneo, by Peter Wimberger, University of Puget Sound professor, TAS board member

May 17th:

“What’s the Economy For, Anyway?” by David Batker of Earth Economics discussing topics in his new book.  Signed copies will be available for purchase.

June 21st:

13th annual Youth Bird Drawing Contest winners and reception; Sue Wattier will preview Tahoma Audubon’s brand new summer day camps and residential programs in University Place, Puyallup and Olympia.
