Deadline: May 1, 2012
The Nisqually Land Trust was established to protect wildlife habitat threatened by the consequences of rapid population growth. Today it conserves and restores over 3,400 acres in the Nisqually watershed. The Development Director will plan, implement, and oversee the Nisqually Land Trust’s development of philanthropic support including fundraising, marketing, and outreach activities. This position will manage a portfolio of donors and will support the Board Development Committee, the Executive Director, the Board of Directors, and key volunteers. This is a new position within a well-established organization. The Land Trust has elements of a development program in place and staffed, including membership, publications, and special events, and is now ready to grow a full development program ultimately capable of generating one-third of our $800,000 annual operating budget.
