The Oregon Department of Forestry is looking for highly qualified candidates to serve as the Director of the Tillamook Forest Center. If hired, you will become part of the Agency’s Leadership Team.

The Center Director is the primary leadership position for the Tillamook Forest Center, responsible for the overall operation of the center and its programs and facilities. The position provides direction on scheduling, strategic planning and budget development, marketing and outreach, program evaluation, and community/ constituency involvement and outreach. The position serves as a resource and member of the team that interacts with center visitors. The position is directly responsible for supervision of four full-time and six seasonal positions. Some of these positions are supervised via lead-work arrangements with subordinates.

The Tillamook Forest Center is a visitor education facility located on Wilson River Highway 6 in the Oregon Coast Range, about an hour’s drive west of downtown Portland and 30 minutes east of Tillamook.
