The Northeast Coalition of Neighborhoods Inc (NECN) is looking to add a valued community member to our community building team! We are a 501c3 nonprofit corporation dedicated to the livability of our inner North and Northeast neighborhoods. Our neighborhoods are: Alameda, Boise, Concordia, Eliot, Grant Park, Humboldt, Irvington, King, Sabin, Sullivan’s Gulch, Vernon, and Woodlawn. The area we serve roughly covers I-84 to N Columbia, and I-5 to NE 42nd Ave.

Compensation: $15/hour

NECN is seeking a Home Energy Efficiency Project Coordinator to support our work on Energize Northeast, a pilot project to help bring comfort, safety and savings to northeast homes by making energy retrofits more accessible. The ideal candidate has community development experience and is interested in gaining experience and building relationships within the Energy Efficiency Sector to increase the livability of northeast Portland homes. The work is focused around Project Coordination, Event Coordination, Community Outreach, Volunteer Recruitment and Customer Service.
