Traditional mushroom cultivation techniques have long relied on special equipment and precision techniques. Not any longer. Thanks to the work of innovative amateur growers, the process has largely been simplified to the point where most can learn to cultivate at home with minimal investment or contamination risk.  In this 2-hour class we will cover the basics of edible mushroom biology and low-tech cultivation. You will learn how mushrooms grow in the wild and how that understanding is important for growing and using them well. We will cover several easy and cheap cultivation methods you can do at home and will provide resources for learning more.
