Priest Point Park – Saturday, January 5th, 10am-1pm

Ring in the New Year by helping improve the beach access trail and remove invasive Ivy in historic Priest Point Park. There will be a fun contest and prizes. Meet at kitchen shelter #2. The park is located at 2600 East Bay Drive NE.

Grass Lake Nature Park – Saturday, January 12th, 10am-1pm

Come out to Grass Lake Nature Park and help us groom the loop trail and remove invasive plants. We will focus on maintaining an area the was restored with native vegetation. Meet near the trailhead. The park is located at 814 Kaiser RD NW. Parking is limited, so please be courteous to neighbors.

Bigelow Park – Monday, January 21st, 10am-1pm

Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day by volunteering at Bigelow Park. Olympia Parks and the Bigelow Highlands Neighborhood Association are teaming up to mulch the tree circles and clean up the park. Check out an Adopt-a-Park group in action! Meet at the picnic shelter. Bigelow Park is located at 1220 Bigelow Ave NE.

Priest Point Park – Saturday, January 26th, 10am-1pm

Come out to historic Priest Point Park and participate in an ongoing restoration project. We will be removing invasive plants and preparing the area for replanting with native vegetation. Meet at kitchen shelter #2. Priest Point Park is located at 2600 East Bay Drive NE.

 

*Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots that can get wet and muddy. Youth under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult and all youth under 18 years must have a signed Waiver and Medical Alert or have a parents’ signature on the sign-in roster at the project work site.
