The Parkrose Revival Project (PRP) (a Neighborhood Prosperity Initiative (NPI) district) is seeking a full-time, organized, dynamic, energetic commercial Revitalization Manager professional to lead the Parkrose Revival Project. This unique opportunity will strengthen the Parkrose neighborhood and businesses, grow jobs, fill vacancies, raise visibility with promotions, and make improvements to the neighborhood’s appearance. The Parkrose Revitalization Manager is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the PRP within our target area. This includes managing the organization’s development, financial management, and overseeing the program’s economic development, promotions, and design projects. The Revitalization Manager will help shape the program by working closely with the PRP Steering Committee, providing hands-on management of the program, and being an enthusiastic advocate for the Parkrose Revival Project.
The ideal candidate will have commercial revitalization experience in the development and execution of a grassroots-driven economic development. Candidate must possess strong communication skills to coordinate a broad range of PRP neighborhood stakeholders and culturally diverse stakeholders; have the ability to develop links among established stakeholders’ activities and projects to aid in business retention; possess competency in developing and overseeing volunteer-driven committees and projects.
$40,000 – $50,000 / year, depending on experience, plus benefits
