The Center for Natural Lands Management is hosting Natalie Footen, a UW grad student, at our nursery, Shotwell’s Landing. Natalie will be talking about the parasitic nature of Castilleja levisecta (Golden paintbrush) and her study looking at alternative host plants.

The talk is on Tuesday, January 29th, from 2-3pm at Shotwell’s Landing Nursery (14447 Littlerock Rd SW). Directions are included below. Before the talk, we will be having a volunteer work day at the nursery to help sow, fill trays, and do general nursery clean up. The work party starts at 9, and people are welcome to join us. Please rsvp to ssvolunteers@cnlm.org, so we can get an estimate of how many people to expect.
