Downtown to Defiance

Bike, walk, run, roll from Point Defiance Park to Downtown Tacoma and back.
Downtown to Defiance is a free open streets event on Sunday, September 28 for bicyclists, walkers and runners to experience the waterfront for almost 7 miles unencumbered by vehicular traffic.
The event starts and finishes at Point Defiance Park with a turnaround on the Foss Waterway Esplanade at S. 21st Street Park.
Point Defiance Park will be a buzz of activity with food trucks, low cost helmet-fitting and live entertainment!
Want to get more involved in the event! Downtown to Defiance is looking for volunteers- we are asking volunteers to work short shifts in exchange for a rocking t-shirt and the opportunity to help facilitate this fun walk, run, roll, ride!
