Seafood Sustainability Program Coordinator – Seattle, WA

MRAG Americas is seeking a full-time Seafood Sustainability Program Coordinator to be based in our Seattle office. The primary responsibilities for this role include the coordination of two important MRAG Americas projects: the International Sustainable Seafood Foundation (ISSF) Proactive Vessel Register (PVR) and the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) fisheries certification program. The ISSF PVR project provides independent auditing and verification of vessels on ISSF’s PVR (see http://iss-foundation.org/pvr/ ) and companies that pledge to purchase seafood from those vessels. The MSC fisheries certification program provides an independent assessment service for wild capture fisheries seeking sustainability certification according to the MSC standard (see www.msc.org for more information). In addition, the Program Coordinator may assist with other projects as needed and time allows.
