- Environmental Information Specialist – Seattle, WA

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Information Specialist to join our team working primarily with the USEPA to support and manage a broad range of hazardous substance emergency responses, site investigations, and homeland protection-oriented activities. The successful candidate will work out of our Seattle, WA office.
Responsibilities:
- Work on a team tasked with environmental emergency response readiness.
- Plan, conduct, manage, and report on field assessments for oil and hazardous substances releases.
- Operate environmental sampling/monitoring equipment.
- Develop data collection and analysis techniques and write technical documents to support these activities.
- Process analytical data for reporting and decision making.
- Lead program and project level data management planning.
- Occasional travel, emergency on-call duties, and outdoor field work at sites in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska.
- Develop and participate in trainings, drills, and exercises.
- Project management.
- Client interaction.
