Compensation:
$13.00/hour

Term of Position:
April 18, 2016 through October 2016 (extension may be possible)

The Science Educator & Assistant Guide position has two primary roles: 1) to support Mount St. Helens Institute hands-on science education programs including day and overnight programs for youth and adults, and 2) to support Mount St. Helens Institute guided climbing programs
in a team with a lead guide and volunteers. Both positions are under the direction of the Science Education Director.

This exciting position has the opportunity to work with and develop an amazing educational resource at Mount St. Helens. Schedule will vary each week and will be approximately 40 hours/week of work. Weekend and evening work will be required. This is a highly physical position requiring work in a variety of harsh weather conditions.
