The City of Bothell is accepting applications for a full-time GIS Specialist position. The primary function of this position is to assist with development and implementation of GIS functionality for the City’s new Asset/Maintenance Management Program. The selected candidate will partner with Public Works and IT division staff to configure GIS and implement Lucity and ESRI software tools for maintenance reporting and analysis needs. This position provides critical input to the development of maintenance management plans for Public Works Maintenance Operations and Utility Divisions for water, wastewater and storm water. Future work may include, Parks, Transportation, Capital, fleet and facilities.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Planning,
Engineering, Earth Sciences or a closely related field; AND three years of experience in developing and managing a spatial database in a GIS program; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
