“What is My State Doing to Support the US Climate Commitment in Paris?”

Of course, the Clean Power Plan will continue to be a major topic of discussion, but not the only one. Please encourage faculty and staff to take advantage of the opportunity to engage your students in these critical conversations: face-to-face with top officials in your state who are focused on climate policy.

Our webinar series (see below) is helping students prepare. We kick off a week from Wednesday with a focus on the Public Health impacts of nationwide carbon reduction, with Harvard’s Kathy Fallon Lambert.

Power Dialogs, set for the week of April 4th, are moving forward in 30 states. Look for the star here to see if there is one in your state. If there is, its very easy to get your students involved. If there is not, it’s pretty easy to organize one. With the SCOTUS decision, the Power Dialog has taken on a new urgency. Now more then ever, students deserve the opportunity to become fully informed, and weigh in on the direction of climate policy in their state.
