NWAC 2016 Volunteer Opportunities
NWAC 2016 is seeking 50 volunteers (plus five alternates) to help us prepare and operate NWAC 2016. This year, NWAC 2016 is offering the following for 8 hours or more of volunteer service at the conference:
- Waiver of the Conference Registration fee;
- Lunch during the volunteer orientation on March 13, 2016 (in Tacoma);
- One “fashionable” Conference T-Shirt; and
- Reservation to the student luncheon event March 24, 2016, noon – 1:30pm.
WHAT DO VOLUNTEERS DO?
There are a wide variety of jobs, these all fit into four broad categories. Most work tasks are divided into 4 hour blocks of time so that volunteers have ample opportunities to attend papers, view posters and socialize with other conference attendees.
