Please come! Please announce to students and community members and encourage their attendance.

On February 4th, 2017 The Evergreen State College’s Master in Teaching Program with the Evergreen Tacoma community will host at noon a FREE screening and discussion of the documentary Most Likely to Succeed  at the Evergreen Tacoma campus, 1210 6th Ave, Tacoma.

This acclaimed film offers an inspiring look at what students and teachers are capable of – if we have the vision and courage to transform our schools. The film depicts the use of interdisciplinary and project-based education models which The Evergreen State College has long embraced. The purpose of this event is to foster meaningful discussion among educators, prospective teachers, parents, students and the public about how current obstacles can be overcome and steps taken for change on a local level. Doors open at 11:30 for gathering and light refreshments, followed by the film and an opportunity for community members to provide input about re-imagining education.

This event is open to the public. Please visit www.mltsfilm.org for more information about the film. Please contact MiT associate director Maggie Foran for additional event information at foranm@evergreen.edu or 360-867-6559.
