Director of Development
Applications due April 3, 2017 by 5 p.m.Audubon Society of Portland seeks a Development Director to manage a proven and diverse array of fundraising programs, applying steady leadership to untapped opportunities with major donors, foundations, and membership. The Development Director is head of a six-member team comprised of a donor relations manager, membership manager, development coordinator, and two seasonal contract staff. Additional administrative support is anticipated within the next six months. The position serves on Portland Audubon’s leadership team, and serves as staff liaison to the board’s active Development & Membership Committee. Director of Education
Applications due March 27, 2017 by 4 p.m.The Audubon Society of Portland seeks an experienced manager, environmental educator, and leader to lead one of the most highly regarded and influential environmental education programs in the Pacific Northwest. The department offers a broad array of fee-based as well as free programs for youth and adults. With a full-time staff of seven, a seasonal team of twenty-five, and dozens of committed volunteers, the education department’s programs directly engage more than 15,000 youth and adults annually, with affiliated programs reaching many thousands more. Summer Environmental Educators (Multiple positions)
Applications due March 9, 2017 by 5 p.m.
The Audubon Society of Portland is seeking talented Environmental Educators to lead our summer camp trips, classes and camps. Applicants must have experience in Environmental Education with knowledge of Pacific Northwest natural history. Qualified individuals should have a passion for working with children and for cultivating each child’s personal connection to the natural world. Our summer educators are responsible for collaborative facilitation of camps as well as being flexible and willing to teach in informal outdoor settings. Community Programs Manager

The Community Programs Manager will help lead and manage community-based youth programs, including the Community Camps and TALON leadership program. The Community Programs Manager is an integral member of Portland Audubon’s collaborative team of adult and youth educators, directly leading innovative programs as well as providing input regarding the inclusiveness and cultural awareness of Portland Audubon programs. Malheur Field Coordinator

Audubon Society of Portland is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified candidate to advance our efforts to restore healthy bird populations at and near Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, working collaboratively with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and other partners. This position will work closely with Refuge staff and a second Portland Audubon staff member who has worked seasonally at the Refuge for the past five years.
