The Services and Activities Fee Allocation Board (S&A Board) is a board appointed to review all requests for support from services and activities fees. The S&A Board is also responsible for proposing to the college administration and the Board of Trustees the recommended program priorities and budget levels for all services and activities fees. Board Member Responsibilities
➢ Attend Monday and Wednesday afternoon meetings held during governance hours, typically 3-5pm.
➢ Act as a liaison to student groups and other S&A fee funded organizations
➢ Participate in outreach efforts outside of regular meeting times
➢ Participate in the Leading Together Student Activities Leadership Certificate Program.
➢ Arrive promptly and prepared for each meeting actively engaging in all deliberations
➢ Must be willing to make a full commitment (October- June).
➢ Must be able to attend the Fall Student Governance retreat November 2-4th, 2017.
➢ Energized and excited to work with a diverse population of students, staff and faculty.
➢ Experience preferred in some type of event planning, student group organizing, community organizing, etc.
➢ Must be able to attend Board meetings every Monday and Wednesday during governance hours and the annual Tier 1 and Tier 2 budget deliberations in the Spring.
Learning Allotment:
All board members receive a stipend of $1605.00 for their work as a member of the S&A Board.
