TGA ENFORCEMENT MANAGER – IN-HOUSE ONLY – CLOSE 12/22/17

Responsible for the efficient operation of the Enforcement and Surveillance Departments. Work harmoniously with Casino Management to insure asset protection, insuring productivity and profitability. Develops a work ethic that sets an example for all peers and subordinates to follow. Must Have: Bachelors Degree in criminal justice, accounting or finance, public or business administration or closely related field or Associate Degree and two years experience in listed fields or Successful completion of law enforcement academy and two years of experience in listed fields. Three years supervisor experience. Extensive knowledge of law enforcement and/or casino industry. Knowledge of surveillance and security programs. writing and incident investigation skills. Knowledge of casino industry. Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills, to include investigative and financial reports. Knowledge of financial investigations, which include fraud, records searching, and white collar criminal investigations. Understanding of legal concepts and processes. Excellent math and analytical skills. Advanced computer skills with proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and word processing. Demonstrate positive customer service skills. Demonstrated ability to address issues of enforcement while maintaining a positive relationship with those impacted. Maintain a valid Tribal Gaming License. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must maintain a valid drivers license. This position includes evening, weekend and holiday work. TECH 1 – TRANSPORTATION (SR. PROG. KITCHEN ASSISTANT – CLOSE 12/22/17

This is a part time position (25 hours per week) and will not receive benefits. Preparation, serving & delivering of Senior Program Meals. Coordinate with head cook to order food and supplies; assist in setting, clearing tables. Participate in the cleaning of kitchen and equipment; ensure that standards of sanitation and safety are met; operate standard kitchen equipment. Transport senior citizens to other functions. EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE SPECIALIST – CLOSE 1/05/18

Provides administrative support to the Social, Health and Education (SHE) committee. Receives all Emergency Assistance applications. Provides to the committee members, completed application packets for review and approval. Submits requests for payment on all approved emergency assistance applications. Serve as primary backup for all accounts payables functions and duties as directed. Knowledge of Principles, procedures and practices related to the emergency assistance program of the Nation. FISCAL TECH II – CHECK DISBURSEMENT – CLOSE 1/05/18

Responsible for processing and printing the accounts payable, payroll checks and vouchers for QIN using the Nation’s accounting software and in accordance with the policies and procedures relating to disbursements. Also responsible for ensuring all processing equipment is in good working condition ordering checks and other supplies as needed and notifying individuals when checks are available when being held for pick up. Must Have: High school education or the equivalent. One year clerical or Fiscal Technician I experience. OR Completion of college, vocational technical or business school training in accounting or bookkeeping may substitute for one year of the specialized experience in fiscal technician activities. WETLAND SPECIALIST – CLOSE 1/12/18

This is a full time grant funded position ending at the termination of the grant and not guaranteed beyond the grant period. The current grant period is 2 years. The Wetland Specialist is responsible for accomplishing tasks identified in the current Quinault Wetland Program Development Grant. These tasks include, but are not limited to wetland delineations, determinations, ratings, and categorization. Other major responsibilities of this position are to track wetland impacts, manage the Quinault Indian Nation (QIN) wetland database, interact with state and federal agencies, provide technical assistance to QIN staff and report to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Must Have: Grade 9: Masters of Science degree with major study in wetland ecology or related field such as botany, hydrology, water quality or soil science. AND Completion of the University of Washington Welland Science and Management Certification course or the Washington Department of Transportation Wetland Ecology and Monitoring Techniques internship AND 1 year of professional experience working with wetlands OR Bachelors of Science degree with major study in wetland ecology or related field such as botany, hydrology, water quality or soil science. AND 3 years of professional experience working with wetlands. 1 year may be substituted for successful completion of the University of Washington Wetland Science and Management Certification course or the Washington Department of Transportation Wetland Ecology and Monitoring Techniques internship Grade 8 Masters degree Bachelors of Science degree with major study in wetland ecology or related field such as botany, hydrology, water quality or soil science. The incumbent is also responsible for the research and implementation of education opportunity development programs designed to enhance the well-being of the Nation’s members at all levels from pre-school through adult education. Must Have: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, education administration, or consultative experience in the program specialty. Two years of management and supervisory experience. Experience must demonstrate working knowledge of education programs. Or An Associates of Arts Degree with 5 years of management and supervisory experience. Desired: Master’s degree involving major study in education, business or public administration or closely allied field preferred. QDNR ADMINISTRATION FLOATER – CLOSE 1/05/18

Administrative position responsible for assisting with all areas in the administration of QDNR, including: Procurement, Reception, Records Management, Permits Office, Enrollment, support to the Director and Deputy Director and providing support to other areas within QDNR as needed. This position will provide support using judgment and training in the application of a variety of processes and documentations as required by regulations and established procedures in specialized administrative functions of QDNR supporting the needs of various departments and programs and the Quinault Business Committee. MEDICAL RECORDS TECH – CLOSE 1/05/18

Prepare and maintain health and medical records using Electronic Health Record. Ensure timely and accurate preparation, maintenance, analysis, and disposition of records and reports on patient illness and treatment, scanning documents and identifying alternate resource verification and referrals. LANGUAGE MEDIA SPECIALIST – CLOSE 12/22/17

The Media Specialist maintains and updates language media projects. They are familiar with current software, tablets and computer systems. The Specialist creates applications for language, directs and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goal or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame. They will also learn the Quinault language and assist staff with training. Must have: Associates in Computer Science or two years’ experience utilizing computer applications to create video, audio and media projects, ability to pass a criminal background test, employee initial and random drug tests, and a valid Washington State driver’s license. Preferred candidates will possess a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science, be familiar with Audacity/Creative Wave Studio, Animation, video and web-based technology, language documentation databases and software. SPECIALIST V – NUTRITION – (Re-advertisement) – CLOSE 12/22/17

Provide professional nutrition consultation services through education, counseling and program consultation throughout the Quinault Indian reservation, work with the WIC program to provide administrative services, supervise program staff members, willing to learn about traditional food practices. Must have: Master’s degree in public health or community nutrition, OR bachelor’s degree with major study in public health, community nutrition, or dietetics; AND 2 years’ experience in nutrition and food services management. Registered as a Dietitian by the American Dietetic Association or registration eligible. Valid Washington State driver’s license.

 

OBESITY/NUTRITION EDUCATOR – (Re-advertisement) – CLOSE 12/22/17

Provide nutrition education services for youth and families to encourage adopting healthy food practices and active lifestyles throughout the Quinault Indian Nation (QIN). Manage and assist in writing/planning childhood obesity grants. Plan, schedule and deliver basic nutrition classes, food demonstrations, and other activities necessary to meet the objectives of the childhood obesity program. Provide and coordinate one-on-one nutrition consulting with parents and child to develop a wellness plan. Work with the fitness and wellness team to achieve a dietary and fitness plan. Must have: Registered Dietitian with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics related field and minimum 2 years experience in Nutrition., community nutrition. Registered Dietitian (RD) license. Quinault Nation EMS is a rural ALS ambulance service that provides emergent care and transport including long

distance inner-facility transports. Full-time employees must be available to work all shifts including weekends, as

well as be able to respond to emergent details alter regularly scheduled hours. Must have: GED or High School

Diploma, minimum of one year field- active EMT-B experience, current non-expired State of Washington

EMT certificate, Washington State Driver’s License, current Healthcare Provider CPR certification w/AED, pass extensive background check, urinalysis and acceptable driving record, Grays Harbor County Medical Program Director approved, lift a minimum of 150 pounds.
