Service opportunity for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day: the Nisqually Land Trust will be hosting a day of habitat restoration at Ohop Creek protected area near Eatonville!

This day of service is one of the Land Trust’s largest volunteer events, and we’ll be working on one of our largest projects as well.  By planting native trees and controlling invasive plants, we will continue the restoration of Ohop Valley, where almost 150,000 trees have already been planted.  Join the Land Trust community in contributing to this incredible project!

The event will be on Monday, January 15th from 9 AM to 4 PM, with a lunch break at 12 PM.  We’ll provide the tools, snacks, and hot beverages if you provide a sack lunch and enthusiasm for nature!
