MLK Day of Service with OlyEcosystems ~ 1/15/18 ~10am-2pm:

It’s time to plant! Please join us on MLK Jr. Day (Mon, Jan 15th; 10am-2pm) for a fun and productive day of service in the West Bay Woods! We have spent the fall and winter removing invasive ivy from the heron nesting area and now we’re ready to mulch and plant! We have several hundred native plants (trees, shrubs, ferns) to put in the ground before the herons return in February and we need your help. Join your community this MLK Jr. Day in making the West Bay Woods a little greener for both people and wildlife! We’ll have plenty of tasty treats, hot coffee, tea and hot chocolate to keep you warm and happy. Bring your family and friends for a fun day in the forest!

West Bay Woods is located at the east end of Dickinson Ave NW – you can navigate to 1212 Dickinson Ave NW. Please park on Rogers St. and walk in.
