The main responsibilities of the treasurer are to:
• Keeping an overview of the committee income and expenses
• Present financial reports to the committee before hearings
• Act as a liaison with the Assistant Director of Student Activities to access financial data
• With the help of the Chair, produce a realistic operating budget which meets the committee’s needs for the following year, to be submitted to the committee at the end of Spring quarter
• Record minutes of meetings
• Post agendas and minutes to the website in a timely manner
• Perform tasks delegated by the Chair
• Participate in ongoing Leadership Development opportunities offered by Student Activities
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Experience in leadership positions
• Experience with group decision making
• Facilitation skills
• Strong organization skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Clear and effective writing skills
• Able to work 4-6 hours a week
