The Opportunity: The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking an energetic team member with the drive and passion in the field of environmental science and community involvement who can comfortably work in office and field settings. As part of our environmental team, this position helps WSDOT meet the agency’s mission and goal of Environmental Stewardship by improving environmental conditions and leaving it better than before.

The successful incumbent provides environmental support to projects for scoping, design, construction and post-construction efforts to meet NEPA/SEPA environmental review and permitting requirements as well as aid in planning and conducting transportation studies related to Air Quality, Acoustics, and Energy to meet regulatory requirements.
