Have you ever been enchanted by the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge?  Ever been enthralled with Mount Rainier?  Maybe these are places you’d like to visit or learn more about?

Register now for Nisqually Stream Stewards 2018 to get a “backstage pass” to these two amazing places in the Nisqually Watershed, and many hidden-treasures in-between!  Learn about the tribal history, geology, natural history of prairies, rivers, forests and more!  Meet the good people on the forefront of recovering our threatened salmon and endangered prairie flowers and butterflies!  Learn how you can participate in citizen science projects to make a difference in your local watershed.

There are 13 trips between Aug. 2 and Sept. 29, all free as long as participants promise to pay it forward by volunteering with Nisqually Stream Stewards or completing stewardship projects in their homes and communities. That’s 40 hours of programing for 40 hours of volunteering.

Register now … just a handful of spots remain!
