The Education and Outreach Coordinator supports HCSEG’s mission by managing the community based education, volunteer and outreach programs. The position is responsible for managing the communications between the HCSEG and the greater Hood Canal community through outreach, education and volunteer recruitment activities. The Education and Outreach Coordinator will work with the Executive Director to integrate outreach and education events that promote HCSEG’s mission and goals. The Education and Outreach Coordinator will also work with the habitat restoration staff to involve volunteers in restoration, monitoring and research activities.
