The Ideal Candidate will:

Have solid technical background of solar systems and/or components. This includes photovoltaic modules, racking or tracking systems, inverters, balance-of-system (AC and DC), transformers, switchgear.

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear and detailed technical reports, presentations and emails.

Must be comfortable with the technical aspects of the job as well as business and client interactions.

Must have project management experience, able to work in a collaborative environment, as well as the ability to work independently

Must be self-motivated with an ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Lead by example and enforces company and regulatory safety policies and procedures; addresses non-compliance among all employees, subcontractors, and vendors.

Ensure that safety and quality are integrated into every phase of the construction process.

Fill an integral role in the development of projects by conducting field verifications, assisting in design adjustments, providing knowledge and field experience to project designs and assisting in the permitting process.

 

Responsibilities:

Develops, bids out, and ensures fulfillment of aspects of work for project subcontractors.

Develops and coordinates project schedules and executes according to plan for assigned projects.

Develops and manages the project construction budgets. Identifies cost saving throughout the project lifecycle.

Effectively applies and enforces Sigora’s methods through review and enforcement of construction standards and specifications.

Reviews and thoroughly understands submittals, plans, and specifications

Understands the fundamental principles of the application, design, installation, and operation of grid-tied and stand-alone PV systems along with battery back-ups.

Stays informed of new and emerging technologies and the potential application for client engagements

 

Job Qualifications

5+ years in a Project Manager role

5 + years in PV installation experience preferred

General contractor license in the state preferred

Salary range: 55-62k based on experience and credentials

Ability to operate forklifts, pile driver, and other construction equipment

NABCEP certification preferred
